Julian St.   |   San José, CA 95110 1.   Call to Order and Roll Call. The meeting was called to order at by Ben Madia at 9:05 AM. A quorum was present. Present: Steve Baron, Marcie Bellicitti, Ben Madia, Stephen Betts, Penny Blake, Catherine Campbell, Alexis Moody, Patty Ramírez, Melissa Suarez, Sara Grace Vann Absent: Michelle Goodwin, Elizabeth Cauley, and Farah Hasnat Guest: Rosemary Baez, CAPC Coordinator; Heidi Emberling, SSA Those present briefly introduced themselves. 2.   Public commentary for items that are not on this agenda. There was one public comment from Catherine Campbell. 3.   Review and approve prior meeting Minutes from January 14, 2026. A motion to approve the minutes of January 14, 2026 as amended was made by Penny Blake, seconded by Alexis Moody. Motion passed unanimously. 4.   Discuss Committee Business. a.   Review and Approve Annual Work Plan for FY 2026-27. Ben Madia reviewed the workplan and asked for committee input. A motion to approve the work plan as amended was made by Steve Baron, seconded by Catherine Campbell, motion passed unanimously. Ben Madia asked for input on accomplishments and committee members continued participation. Steve Baron acknowledged DFCS staff for providing information to the committee. Catherine Campbell   stated that it’s an accomplishment for people to get together and have spaces for voices. Steve Baron stated the risk assessment and family court information was an accomplishment. Ben Madia stated that we have a greater understanding of issues due to collaboration with DFCS. Penny Blake stated that as a committee the
