Dear ,
Help Shape Housing at Ashby BART
A Community Meeting on October 1
September 2026 · Volume 11
South Berkeley has a real say in what gets built at the Ashby BART station, and we want to hear from you.
On Thursday, October 1, the City will host a community meeting where two development teams present their plans for new affordable housing on the Ashby BART East Parking Lot. After each presentation, residents can share feedback on the teams through a survey during the event, and that feedback helps guide which team advances to the City Council.
This is affordable housing coming to our neighborhood, backed by an $8 million City commitment to the site. Come learn about the teams, ask your questions, and make sure our community's priorities are part of the decision.
